The Mountain House Great Egg Hunt Is Today! Yeah!

By Shelley Puentes February 11, 2017

Subscriber Prize Alert...... The Mountain House Great Egg Hunt is today! There will be 2 egg hunts both starting at noon. One for kids 6 and over on the small concert field at Central Park and one for 5 below on the large main field at Central Park with all the 3 & 4 year old kids on the left side of the main field. I am also going to put eggs on the small patches of grass around the field for little kids. I know some of you want your 1/2 year old's to participate. Please spread yourself out around the field so that the egg hunters are not bunched up. There is plenty of room at the park fields so let's use it up. Please arrive by 11:30 am at the latest. The egg hunt will start at noon and be over in a few minutes. You don't want to miss the start and you'll want to have time to get yourself situated around the fields. No Ka Oi Shaved Ice and Rhome's Bistro will be serving again this year and it's great that the characters from The Children's Dance Theatre will be at the egg hunt in their Alice in Wonderland costumes to pose for camera phone photos and selfies! Buy your tickets now at www.atthegrand.org for their shows April 29th and 30th. $15-$50. Plus there will be a few others dressed up in costume to make it even more fun! The Great Egg Easter Chicken will kick off the egg hunt at noon! When you arrive at the egg hunt, find your age group. If you have two kids you want to egg hunt together, I would suggest you hunt in the age group of the youngest child. Parents......please, please please stay off the egg hunt field during the hunt. We cannot have adults on the field. What else.... yes there will be food and shaved ice at the event....... Prize alert...... to thank you for being a Mountain House Macaroni Kid Subscriber..... if you walk up to me and ask for an Easter basket... and if you are one of the first six  to do it you will win a basket handmade by Dr. Putzlacher and Mountain House Dental. Look for me... I'll be dressed in blue and roaming around coordinating.
