Beyond my noteworthy educational achievements in Biomedical Engineering, an MBA in management, and a Doctorate in Dentistry, my unwavering commitment extends to serving in the US Armed Forces since 2004. My journey commenced at NYU College of Dentistry, where I confronted challenges attempting to enlist in due to a ban on headgears for Sikhs.
In breaking barriers, I emerged as one of the pioneering Sikhs to join the Army in 2009. Through years of relentless advocacy, I secured my place with religious accommodation, contributing significantly to the removal of the ban on headgears in the US Army. This landmark decision opened doors for thousands of Sikhs and other communities to serve with pride. Presently designated for Battalion Command at Camp Parks for an NCO training unit, I also proudly own Innovo Dental and Implant Studio, renowned as "one of the best dental practices" in Tracy, Ca.
Fueled by a fervor for public service, I seamlessly integrate Army values into my daily life, embodying principles of leadership, honesty, and respect. My dedication extends to fulfilling my duty to country, family, and community. As a proficient multitasker with a profound understanding of the significance of teamwork, I am poised to accomplish our mission.
Advocating for civic engagement, my campaign emphasizes transparency, fiscal accountability, safety, and security. I am a vocal proponent for planning and development, with a specific focus on healthcare facilities and a community center for our senior citizens. Notably, I was the sole candidate addressing the imperative issues of maintaining a city free of encampments and addressing the healthcare and senior center needs of our growing elderly community.
I strongly encourage you to view the debate videos from the session held on January 14, 2024. Through careful observation, discern the stance of each candidate regarding cityhood and take the opportunity to recognize the unparalleled value that I bring to the discussion. Your active engagement in this process is crucial in making informed decisions for the betterment of our community.
