It is with great excitement and gratitude to the community that I announce my candidacy for City Council for the proposed City of Mountain House.
Today, our town is in its adolescence and I would like to be part of shaping its future. In 2019 I relocated from San Francisco to Mountain House and I enthusiastically became involved in our community. By 2022, I evolved from a community builder and businessman to becoming a Board Member and ultimately, appointed as Board President.
I own two local, successful businesses, Mountain House Handyman Company, and Mountain House Events LLC. In addition to managing businesses and Board duties, I founded the nonprofit Mountain House Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s goals include encouraging developers to establish new foundations for emerging entrepreneurs, promoting existing businesses, and generating new tax revenue streams.
My goals as a City Council Member include a new local civic authority that will provide Mountain House with added revenue streams. One example would include rezoning underutilized indoor space for repurposed mixed-use commercial and economic development. This could bring newfound job opportunities for residents who need extra income as well as create an opportunity for aspiring marketplaces for local businesses to debut.
Accomplishing these goals will require an innovative mindset with skill sets that support cityhood growth. I will utilize my former technology and entrepreneurial experience to benefit the community. MH has a long journey ahead to maintain civic budgets without an increase in taxes.
I look forward to the opportunity of being a Council Member and continuing to work with members of the community to ensure exponential growth in Mountain House.
